I opened up my VCU homepage to check my class schedule for this semester and caught this article.
Genetic Factors Strongly Shape How Peers Are Chosen
I haven't read the full study but I have sat through a lecture from Dr. Kendrick, I'm not really sure I remember much about it, but I think he referenced this piece of work throughout. ( it wasn't acutally my class, I was helping out a friend...that was the only reason I didn't pay attention I swear :) )
This sounds like a very interesting study, and I will be interested to see how further investigation maps a clear trace for what genetic factors are actually shaping our environment.
